John brings over 25 years of leadership experience across the financial services sector. During his career with AIB, he experienced periods of significant growth, challenge and transformation, leading teams through complex change programmes across International Banking, Product Management and Business Banking.

He subsequently built on this experience with over eight years of leadership in the fast-moving FinTech sector, where he was involved in launching Electronic Money Institutions in Ireland and across Europe. John has also served as a director for over 10 years across both the public and private sectors.

John’s career has taken him through periods of technological, regulatory and organisational transformation, which he draws on in coaching leaders navigating change today. He combines this experience with a highly engaging, warm and encouraging coaching style, creating a safe environment in which clients can reflect openly, realise their potential and achieve greater fulfilment. He helps clients gain clarity during times of challenge or change, putting the client relationship at the centre of everything he does. John also understands the sense of isolation that can accompany senior leadership positions, and considers it a privilege to work with clients through the coaching relationship.

John has an MSc in Management from Trinity College, holds a Diploma in Chartered Direction from the Institute of Directors and is an accredited executive coach by the Association for Coaching.
